I had the very good fortune to come across Woodruff roofing.This started with a roof leak numerous years ago. I called a lot of contractors in the area and apparently my house was too far away. or the job was too small or the just weren’t interested for some reason.I called Woodruff they showed up quickly gave me a reasonable quote (at no cost) matched the existing shingles, and did the work quickly.Fast forward to this past fall. We decided it was time to replace our roof. as well replace some gable vents that were worn. We had numerous different quotes. But because of the Woodruff quote being specific, quality materials being used, warranty and our past experience using Woodruff we decided on them.We were very pleased the roof looks amazing, the gable vents match perfectly, the job was done very professionally and clean up was awesome. This company is from first call and has been excellent in every phase of replacement of our roof, gutters, and downspouts. Handling the inspection, reviewing with the insurance inspector, scheduling, getting materials, and crews, this was handled like a well-oiled machine.Step by step, they did an excellent work from the demo to reinstall shingles, gutters, and downspout, and the massive clean-up was handled fast and complete.Hats off to the managers who stayed on top of the project to completion, and all did a great job and followed ups.All I can tell you is if you need jobs done at your home, you need to call this company, they really make bad issues a lot less stress on you.We had and have high respect for Owner, the owner, Matt and sales, estimator Eric make it all work the entire company and employees are all hard working Very polite, professional in all the parts they supportCall them if you need help, they’ll take care of it. I don’t do many reviews, but wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and kudo’s to Matt Woodruff(owner) and team at Woodruff Roofing and Exteriors. After a hail storm hit our area including my home, I reached out to Woodruff for inspection. Matt personally came out himself to accommodate my need during a very busy schedule they had. He did a thorough inspection of my home from the ground to getting on the roof himself. He’s a tradesmen turned owner and is still hands on with his expertise. Straight shooter and professional but down to earth guy. While there was some damage Matt explained the damage and different options we could use. He has years of experience with not only the roofing and exteriors, but he is well seasoned with the multiple insurance adjusters. That experience allows him to guide you on how your insurance company will assess your specfic damage which may or may not be the best for your actual needs physically and financially speaking. His honest assessment and willingness to take the time to answer the many questions I had, allowed me to make a smart decision for my home. I was able to avoid a claim on my insurance which would of resulted in only a partial roof and gutter repair that had the potential of color mismatch and future claim problems in the event another storm hit my home later. No pressure approach, he presented the facts, gave me his professional opinion as if he was treating his own home and then left the decison to me. We opted to address an immediate repair/patch to a small area of shingles that had broken and caused exposure. This avoided an insurance claim, was financially beneficial, and leaves me in the best position for furture insurance negotiations shoud another storm hit. I contacted my builder for an exact shingle color match and when relaying that info to Matt, I found he already had done that, knew the shingle type and color and had it being picked up. We had a round of rain coming in and I came home one day later to find Matt had his guys come out and complete the repair in between another job they were doing in the area. I called and he said he wanted to make sure I was good before the rain moved in. That was all done on a gentleman’s handshake which was an exception to their normal business routine. That is the character of this company and their customer service. He was flexible to quickly meet my needs and the pricing was more than fair. I’m local to this company but they are all over the metro displaying the same quality work. To add, I spoke to one of his service guys prior to hiring them while they were onsite at another job. That worker displayed the same character and customer service as the owner. Top-notch company, work, and service. I walked away with my needs met, financial savings, and the bonus of a new friend in Matt the owner. Couldn’t ask for more. I highly recommend and will use again as needed.
